How this Gladden Farms pool came together
Every photo is from this one project, in the order it was built. Tap any photo to see it full size.
- 01
Step 1 of 3
Pool excavation next to existing turf
We dug the pool beside the existing turf and set wood forms to hold the shape. Working carefully around a finished yard keeps the rest of the landscaping intact.
- 02
Step 2 of 3
Travertine pool deck and coping
The tan travertine deck and coping were finished around the shell before the interior finish, so the stone edge was set and level before the pool was filled.
- 03
Step 3 of 3
Light blue interior finish
Our crew applied the light blue interior finish with the deck covered for protection. A light finish gives the water a bright, Caribbean blue color.
